Add ingredients to the grill plate and select either the outer lid or inner lid; do not use both at once. Keep the inner lid lowered for baked foods such as grilled fish or toast, raise it for steaming vegetables or cooking fried eggs, and use the outer lid for rice and braised dishes. Operate the heating function only at 500 W or 600 W, without continuous heating beyond 20 minutes. The grill plate becomes extremely hot during heating, so use a mitten or comparable protection when handling it. Do not place it over a direct flame, on an induction cooktop, in an oven, or in a toaster. Avoid large quantities of oil and foods with substantial oil content, and do not use wraps, plastic bags, aluminum foil, or parchment sheets.

After use, wash the grill plate in a dishwasher. Let the main unit and lids cool fully before touching or cleaning them. Because the trivet is not heat resistant, do not place cookware or pots on it immediately after high-temperature cooking. Hang the trivet by its loop for storage when desired, and use the grill plate only for its specified microwave application. Never expose it to a direct flame, induction heating, an oven, or a toaster. Also, do not use wraps, plastic bags, aluminum foil, or parchment sheets while heating.
