[EU Customers Only] VAT & Duties Collection Updates
Kiichin is updating the checkout process for customers in the European Union to make shopping from Japan clearer, easier, and more transparent.
VAT Collected for All EU Orders & Duties Collected for EU Orders Over €150 from June 23, 2026
Starting June 23, 2026, VAT will be collected directly at checkout for all orders shipped to countries in the European Union.
For EU orders valued at €150 or more, applicable duties will also be collected directly at checkout.
This means EU customers can see the full cost of their order before completing payment. Applicable VAT and, for eligible orders valued at €150 or more, duties will be shown clearly during checkout.
Our goal is to help customers avoid unexpected costs and enjoy a smoother delivery experience.
Important Note for EU Orders Under €150 from July 1, 2026
For EU orders valued under €150 that were placed before July 1, 2026, if the package is cleared through customs on or after July 1, 2026, customers may be required to pay a customs-related fee of €3 per item.
Please check your order summary carefully before completing your purchase to make sure all product prices, shipping fees, VAT, and duties are clear where applicable.
